Berthe Morisot, a woman in a man’s world
Berthe Morisot (1841-1895) is one of the major figure of the Impressionism. She was a member and one of the founder of the Parisian impressionist movement. Respected and admired by the greatest artists of that time (Manet, Monet, Degas, Renoir, Fantin Latour, or Pissaro) with who she exhibited her work regularly. But her true value was never fully recognized by the public and the institutions. The exhibition at the Musée d'Orsay is a tribute to her work and a unique opportunity to discover or rediscover the work of this amazing artist
