Berthe Morisot

Berthe Morisot, a woman in a man’s world

Berthe Morisot (1841-1895) is one of the major figure of the Impressionism. She was a member and one of the founder of the Parisian impressionist movement. Respected and admired by the greatest artists of that time (Manet, Monet, Degas, Renoir, Fantin Latour, or Pissaro) with who she exhibited her work regularly. But her true value was never fully recognized by the public and the institutions. The exhibition at the Musée d'Orsay is a tribute to her work and a unique opportunity to discover or rediscover the work of this amazing artist

“A day with Hemingway” walk

"A day with Hemingway" walk takes you to the Paris of Hemingway, the Paris of the 1920s, through the 3 main neighborhoods to most, at the places he frequented and loved. It takes you back in time when so many writers and artists coming from all over the world moved to Paris. This tour is also a good excuse to explore a little more, the city of lights off the beaten path.

This is a subjective list of 15 films I particularly liked or loved. 15 films shot since 1990 As you know already, I am French. And one says that French films are boring... Thus, if you think that those films are boring , I must be very very French...!!!!!!!! But I hope I'm not too boring...!!! Nevertheless I hope you'll enjoy some of the films mentionned in this list If you've already watched some of them or when you've seen some after reading this article, I'd enjoy hearing about your appreciation and your feelings
