- Parisian, born, raised and living in Paris
- Third generation of a Parisian family
- I live in the 14th arrondissement of Paris
- Music lover and more especially piano and concerts lover. And I avoid the “Best of”
- English language lover (although far from being bilingual. I studied English only during my secondary school years)
- Often more interested in what’s seen on sidelines rather than mainstream items and things.
- I am a life long café lover (not to be confused with coffee shops) for their ambiance, their spirit, their history and story
- I have hundreds of books about Paris at home
- Not fan of following a group. Or being in a group (except in concerts and festive events)
- I truly believe that the way you travel is a reflection of who you are.
- I am not, generally speaking a believer of “c’était mieux avant” ( = “it was better before”)
- I moved several times in Paris and lived in the 14th, in the 15th and in the 17th. I live now in the 14th arrondissement of Paris
- I am not a fan of selfies. I’d rather be behind the lens
- I’ve graduated from the Sorbonne University (Paris 5th arrondissement, Latin Quarter) with a Master’s degree. And actually got 2 Master’s degrees
- I worked for a number of years successively in the Marketing field, then as a teacher in the National Education
- Generally speaking, I would most often choose the sidelines over the mainstream path.
- I am quite picky about my language. I love its grammar, its orthographe (including its ^ accents circonflexes !), and reluctant about trends which alter the elegance of French language.
- I am as picky about pastries as about my language !
- I am currently living in the building where I was raised and spent the 17 first years of my life.
- Several poster of Thelonious Monk are hanging on my wall, and one of Alex Kapranos (of Franz Ferdinand)
- I don’t like enjoy touristic guided tours : one of the reasons for which I created “Anne Jeanne in Paris” !
