ALIGRE MARKET : a lively, cosy and welcoming marketCapture d’écran 2016-04-29 à 12.51.20

The Marché d’Aligre is located in the 12th arrondissement. It is an open-door market which takes place daily in the morning (except monday) . An authentic opendoor market with a friendly atmosphere. Very good quality products. Very well appreciated market by Parisian people.

Also a small covered market called « Marché Beauvau* », just next door, with a great selection of prepared food, fresh products and baked goods. And a small flea market in the center of the square.

Visit this market for the wonderful food and people watching.

Great selection of fruits and vegetables, delicatessen and flowers. Several boulangeries and small cafés, around.

*The covered Beauvau market was built in 1843.

My advice :

  • Maybe my favorite Paris outdoor market
  • Best time to visit the outdoor Aligre market is from 10 am to noon (closed at 1pm)
  • Go for a coffee on one of the many cafés around the market and enjoy the ambiance and the pleasure of people watching !
  • Café Charlette : I suggest this small authentic and welcoming Parisian cafe to have a break
